
About the Role
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly generate new sales opportunities as well working on the existing ones provided by the Finneo Head Office.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies and tactical plans, focusing on identifying profitable new and existing clients.
- Apply business development and relationship management skills to support the achievement of revenue targets through sales of customized lending solutions.
- Provide valuable input to equity offerings, valuations, private placements, mergers and acquisitions advisories.
- Perform valuation methodologies, comparative company and discounted cash flow analysis for key clients.
- Demonstrate leadership through coaching and mentoring Jr. Originators and Underwriters to build the best-in-class team.
- Client and prospects presentations; be highly visible in the marketplace to proactively develop an internal and external network of referral sources to generate new business and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects.
- Review and analyze financial statements, cash flow/working capital position, business plans, goals and objectives, to develop best-in-class recommendations that meet or exceed the client’s expectation.
- Work with lending partners to originate a wide variety of commercial real estate loans across Canada focused on making first and second mortgage loans as well as construction, bridge and subordinate debt financings to real estate developers, builders, and owners.
- Understand and adhere to credit granting policies relative to quality and verification of information, analysis, profitability, and credit recommendations, executing sale of credit and services to real estate clients and prospects as defined.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
A valid Mortgage License and/or working towards a Mortgage Broker license preferred.
A minimum of 5 years related work experience in commercial lending(specialty in real estate financing) is required.
