Amar Nijjar
Founder & CEO
Amar Nijjar is a seasoned real estate capital markets executive with over $20 billion in closed debt and equity transactions across North America. Over his two-decade career, Amar has built deep expertise in structuring complex capital stacks and executing across all major asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, hospitality, mixed-use, and development land.

He spent more than 10 years at major North American banks, including BMO, RBC, and CIBC, where he originated, underwrote, and managed large-scale commercial real estate financings for institutional clients. He later served as Executive Vice President and Practice Lead for JLL’s Debt Capital Markets group, leading origination and execution teams on multi-billion-dollar mandates across Canada and the United States.

Amar has advised and arranged capital for some of the largest REITs, developers, and family offices across North America, leveraging long-standing relationships with banks, life companies, CMBS lenders, debt funds, and institutional and private credit investors. His expertise spans the full capital stack—senior, subordinate, and mezzanine debt, as well as JV equity—and he is recognized for his analytical precision, creativity in structuring, and ability to deliver execution certainty in dynamic market conditions.
