About the Role

Finneo is seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Capital Markets Advisor to join its rapidly growing, technology-driven commercial real estate advisory platform. This role is ideal for high-performing professionals with 5–10 years of experience in real estate finance, capital markets, or investment banking who are looking to accelerate their career within an innovative and collaborative environment.

Unlike traditional brokerages, Finneo operates on a team-based model. Every transaction is supported by a dedicated trio: the Originator, the Founder & CEO (Amar Nijjar, a former EVP and top-producing broker at JLL), and a senior Execution Partner. This structure ensures institutional-quality execution, deep market insight, and white-glove service to our clients. You’ll play a pivotal role in deal origination, structuring, lender engagement, and closing, while leveraging Finneo’s proprietary data and AI-driven platform to deliver differentiated capital solutions across debt and equity.

Compensation: Base (Draw against Commission) + Deal split (Commission)

Responsibilities

We have three distinct business lines that collaborate and work together on each deal: Origination + Pitching + Execution. This role is for the Origination business line.


  • Primary responsibility of the Originator will be to execute on Company's business development strategy by effectively using leads data, CRMs and COI network that you will be provided with.

  • You will be main point of contact in the local market to source and bring clients for introduction and pitches with the company's pitching group.

  • You along with the Pitching group will be responsible for convincing the client to work with our firm on an exclusive basis with an upfront retainer towards our services.

  • From thereon, the Execution group takes over the execution piece with continued assistance from you where needed.

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to originate financing opportunities from sophisticated commercial real estate stakeholders, including REITs, pension fund advisors, developers, and family offices.

  • Proactively engage in high-volume business development through cold calls, strategic email outreach, LinkedIn campaigns, and in-person networking, positioning Finneo’s value proposition effectively.

  • Lead and participate in client presentations, product demos, feedback loops, and negotiations to secure exclusive mandates and grow a high-quality pipeline.

  • Working closely with the CEO and the Founder, Design and implement both short-term tactical and long-term strategic sales plans to expand market reach and identify high-value client relationships.

  • Leverage relationship management and structured finance expertise to deliver tailored debt solutions, contributing to the overall growth of Finneo’s mandate volume and execution capabilities.

  • Collaborate on equity placements, valuations, and broader capital market engagements where required, offering strategic input and client insight.

  • Represent Finneo in the market with authority—cultivating referral sources, attending industry events, and maintaining a visible and credible presence among top-tier stakeholders.

  • Master Finneo’s proprietary technology and data tools to differentiate the firm’s capabilities and deliver a best-in-class advisory experience to clients.

  • Working closely with the CEO and the Founder, Originate and structure a full spectrum of CRE financings, including permanent loans, construction financing, bridge loans, and subordinate debt placements.

  • Working closely with the execution team, maintain a strong command of lender programs across banks, life companies, private debt funds, CMBS, and alternative capital providers to ensure optimal structuring and market alignment.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate debt origination and underwriting, with a strong track record of closing transactions.

  • Proven sales acumen and natural ability to build and nurture relationships with property owners, developers, and institutional clients.

  • Deep understanding of CRE capital structures, loan products, and financing strategies across asset classes.

  • Ability to negotiate complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders with professionalism and strategic clarity.

  • Strong leadership presence, demonstrated through active involvement in professional networks, industry forums, or local community initiatives.

  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized institution in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.

  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, capable of operating independently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, solution orientation, and a consistent drive for excellence.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to represent Finneo’s brand and capabilities confidently in the market.
