Amar Nijjar

Amar is an Engineer by education and holds an MBA in Real Estate & Finance from York University. He is an entrepreneur and believes in creating opportunities that lift the lives of his employees and clients. After spending 10 years in Investment banking and Corporate Finance at CIBC, BMO and Royal Bank - Amar was recruited by JLL Canada to start their Debt Capital Markets Group. Prior to launching Finneo, he was # 1 Broker at JLL Canada (across all business lines) and was promoted to EVP and Practice Lead. Amar has over $15 billion of CRE Debt & Equity transaction experience working both in US and Canada.Amar's goal is to help underprivileged children living in Orphanages around the world through the Educate initiative. Initially, he started Educate to help orphaned kids with disabilities in Lima, Peru and since then expanded it to Bogota, Colombia.
