Jay Volpenhein

Jay began their career at CBRE, spending two years in a Research & Advisory capacity specializing in life sciences and industrial real estate. In this role, they developed a strong foundation in market analysis, underwriting support, and institutional-grade reporting, working closely with senior brokerage teams to support capital markets and investment decisions across complex asset classes.

They later transitioned into Marina & Shipyard Investment Sales, where they spent two years focused exclusively on marine-related assets nationwide. During this time, they were involved in transactions totaling over $100 million in aggregate volume, advising owners, operators, and institutional investors on acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, and the strategic positioning of marina and shipyard properties.
